Kennedy stated ” Gary Wiegert and I pursued stolen cars, arrested burglars, hold up men and dope dealers together and we once arranged 19 cocaine purchases which resulted in 5 search warrants executed simultaneously in the 2800 block of Ohio. Governor Ashcroft saluted us in his state of the state address and President Bush honored us in person at St. Francis DeSales cafeteria.

Phelps is the current treasurer of the St. Louis Police Retirees.
